Dallas Baptist head coach Blake Filckner won the 100th game of his career this past weekend as his squad defeated Ouachita Baptist. I’ve heard from multiple sources that Mike Smith is no longer on the staff at Kennesaw State. He was hired by new head coach Lewis Preston in June of this year after working as an assistant at Jacksonville State. I’m still trying to dig to find out what happened, but Smith is no longer listed

Wimberly resigns at Swarthmore

Lee Wimberly has resigned as Swarthmore College’s head men’s basketball coach, citing worsening health conditions. Joe Culley will take over the head coaching duties for the remainder of the season. Culley is in his 10th season as an assistant coach at Swarthmore. In 24+ seasons at Swarthmore, Wimberly has a career record of 184-417. A

Settles named Interim Head Coach at IWC

Former Iowa standout Jess Settles has been named as the interim head coach at Iowa Wesleyan. Alan Magnani has been fired as the head coach at Iowa Wesleyan. He was the all-time winningest head coach in IWC history – over 240 wins in his 15+ seasons at the helm. Jim Walker earned his 400th coaching victory at Moravian College as the Greyhounds defeated DeSales 72-63. Walker is 400-383 in his 33rd season at Moravian.
