Missouri State University head basketball coach Paul Lusk announced that Sam McMahon has been named as the program’s director of basketball operations. Piedmont names head coach
The Piedmont College Department of Athletics has announced the hiring of Mark Bollinger as the school’s new head men’s basketball coach. Bollinger comes to PC after a four-year stint as an assistant coach at Ohio Wesleyan University. In his four seasons on the OWU bench, the team posted a 66-40 record including a 44-20 mark

Virginia Tech head men’s basketball coach James Johnson has announced the hiring of Andy Moore as Director of Men’s Basketball Operations. Moore comes to Blacksburg following four years at Eastern Michigan University. Moore moved into game operations during the 2011-12 academic year after spending the three previous seasons as a full-time assistant coach at EMU.
MSU Promotes Stephens
Michigan State announced today that Dwayne Stephens has been promoted to from assistant basketball coach to associate head coach. Second year head coach Steve Payne has announced the addition of two assistant coaches to the Tennessee Tech men’s basketball staff in Brian Kloman-Ferguson and former Golden Eagle ball player, Rick Cabrera. Cabrera returns to his alma mater with 12 years of coaching experience at various ranks under his belt. He comes back to TTU
Assistants added at Binghamton
New Binghamton head men’s basketball coach Tommy Dempsey has added Lazarus Sims and Ben Luber to his coaching staff, the University announced Monday. Sims, a former point guard at Syracuse, has served as SU’s coordinator of player development since 2007. Luber, a former Penn State standout, coached the last two seasons with Dempsey at Rider.
Mississippi Valley State finalists
The three finalists to replace Sean Woods at Mississippi Valley State are: Interim head coach Chico Potts, Arkansas Pine-Bluff head coach George Ivory and Tougaloo College assistant Harvey Wardell. MVSU conducted phone interviews with the candidates Thursday and will release the name of the new head coach early next week.
