NJIT assistant coach Stephen Sauers has resigned and will pursue other opportunities. A veteran at the DI level, Sauers had been at NJIT since 2017. He has also worked at UC Riverside, Seton Hall, Iona, and Albany. Sauers peviously spent time working for the Hoop Group, and served two seasons as the head coach for Canarias Basketball Academy (Spain).

There is no word yet as to his replacement. More on that one as I hear it.
