Following-up on something that I mentioned in the DAILY DIRT on 8/24. Middlebury has officially announced the hiring of Sam Rubinstein as an assistant basketball coach. Here’s the release from the college:
Middlebury has announced the hiring of Sam Rubinstein as an assistant men’s basketball coach. Rubinstein joins the Panther coaching staff after serving in a similar capacity at Brandeis for the last three years.
“I am excited to welcome Sam to Middlebury and our basketball brotherhood,” said head coach Jeff Brown. “He is passionate and organized as a coach. He values the importance of developing authentic relationships. Our student-athletes will benefit from his teaching and mentorship.”
“It’s an honor and a privilege to be a member of the men’s basketball program at Middlebury College,” said Rubinstein. “I’m so excited for the opportunity to work with Coach Brown, our student athletes, and the rest of the athletic department in our pursuit of success both and on and off the court.”
