Following up on something that I mentioned in yesterday’s Daily Dirt, Florida College has made it official and named Chase Teichmann as their new head men’s basketball coach. He will replace Pat Todd who resigned yesterday. Here’s the full release from FC:
Chase Teichmann has been named the next head coach of the Florida College men’s basketball program.
“I am thrilled, humbled, and grateful for the opportunity to lead this program,” Teichmann said. “I want to thank President Payne and Dr. Longstreth for believing in me. I would like to thank every coach I’ve ever worked or played for. I also want to thank my friends and family, especially my wife, Maggie, for always being supportive of my goals and dreams.”
“Florida College is a place that means a lot to me. Their mission and values align directly with how I want to run a program. The relationships I’ve made the last three years here make it that much more exciting. We will build a program the student-athletes, alumni, and fans all take great pride in, on and off the court.”
