St. Michael’s (VT) Head Coach Tom O’Shea will resign at the end of the season. O’Shea is in his 13th season as the head coach at St. Mikes and has a record of 172-178. The Purple Knights are 5-6 (1-6 NE-10) this season. O’Shea served as an assistant at the college for 7 seasons prior to becoming the head coach in 1997. A national search will be conducted after the season and there will be no shortage of quality candidates. The NE-10 is one of the most competitive DII leagues in the country.
On a side note, I’m not sure why it’s still called the NE-10 since they’ve expanded to 16 teams. I guess they’re trying to be like the big 10 (11). Strange…..
