Lambros Papalambros has joined the men’s basketball coaching staff at Regis College for the 2018-19 campaign.
Before he joined the Pride, Papalambros spent 2017 as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Curry College. While there, he was responsible for in-game substitutions and adjustments, along with helping to complete film breakdowns and scouting reports for opposing teams. He also helped in skill development programs. The team received the 2018 CCC Sportsmanship Award.
Prior to joining the staff at Curry, Papalambros spent time as the assistant coach at Weymouth High School, where he was also the head coach of the junior varsity team. Additionally, Lambros serves as the head coach for a 16U team with The Middlesex Magic AAU program
While playing at Curry, Papalambros, was part of the 2012-2013 CCC Championship team. He ranked 10th in school history in points and was a 2012-2013 All-Northeast selection by D3hoops.com. A 2015 graduate and three-year captain, Papalambros graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in communications. He will be pursuing his master’s degree in strategic communications during his time at Regis.
