Paul Lusk will remain as the head basketball at Missouri State according to athletic director Kyle Moats. Lusk, who now has two-years remaining on his contract, would have been owed $742,906 if Missouri State had fired him after this season.
Moats said that at a meeting on Wednesday, the board of trustees voted unanimously to retain Lusk, regardless of the outcome of the MVC Tournament. The Bears finished the season 17-16 (7-11 MVC). Lusk now holds an 88-106 mark over his six seasons as the head coach at MSU.
