The Arizona Board of Regents has approved a contract extension for Wildcats head basketball coach Sean Miller that will keep him in Tucson through the 2022 season. The deal also guarantees that Miller will earn $2.6 million per year, with his base salary growing by $100,000 annually until 2020. Miller’s 2017-18 contract is made up of a $1.5 million base plus $700,000 for radio, television and speaking engagements and $400,000 in bonuses from Nike and IMG. The extension also includes 50,000 units in a stock-based longevity fund currently valued at $1.09 million.
