Penn State Lehigh Valley Athletics is proud to announce the hiring of their new head men’s basketball coach and Penn State Alumni, Kyle Mills, to take over the program.
Kyle Mills has been named head men’s basketball coach at Penn State Lehigh Valley after being an assistant for the 2023-2024 season. Mills is no stranger to the @psuac as he was four-year player at Penn State University-DuBois from 2012 to 2016. Mills was a captain for 3 of the 4 years of his basketball career at PSU Dubois and finished his career 6 points shine of 1,000.
In 2018, Mills began his coaching career at his alma mater East Stroudsburg North HS. In 2021, he received an opportunity to be an assistant varsity coach at Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania before getting on staff at PSULV.
In addition, Mills has coached with Lehigh Valley AAU programs; L&L Rebels & PA Coalition.
After graduating with his BS degree in human development and family studies Mills began working as a case manager for adults with mental health. Mills is married to Taylor and they have 2 children, Karis & Talen.
