Eric Alleyne is a new member to the Pine Manor athletic and administrative staff. Raised in Newton/Watertown, MA, Alleyne attended Newton North High School before transferring to the Brimmer and May School where he graduated in 2010.
Alleyne attended Div. II Palm Beach Atlantic after graduating from Brimmer and May where he played in 14 games, earning 4 starts as a freshman. He averaged 3.4 points and 1.6 assists per game. Eric returned home his sophomore year transferring to Massbay Community College playing for local icon Billy Raynor. Alleyne started 30 game that season helping lead the Buccaneers to a regional championship and a 5th place national ranking that season.
Alleyne then went on to Rhode Island College where he played the under current UMaine Head Coach Bob Walsh. The Anchormen Won the LEC championship his junior season and a berth in the NCAA tournament. As a senior in 2014-2015, Alleyne was named Second Team All-Little East. He played in all 28 games, averaging 14.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.1 steals per game.
Alleyne graduated with a BA in Marketing from Rhode Island College.
He got involved in coaching immediately and his resume includes working with both Hoop Mountain and Hoop Group events. He also has coached at the Rhode Island College Basketball Camp and Dave Cowen’s Basketball School.
