On Monday, November 5th, the Green Mountain College athletic department announced that men’s basketball Assistant Head Coach David Randall has been promoted to Associate Head Coach. Randall had served as an assistant coach during the 2011-12 season and quickly demonstrated an advanced knowledge and passion for coaching. Head Coach Daryle Tucker advocated for the promotion and is happy to see his assistant receive the well-deserved recognition.

Prior to coming to Green Mountain, Randall coached locally at the elementary and junior high level. In 2005-2006 he was Athletic Director and the 6th grade boys’ coach at Poultney Elementary School. He then coached Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball for three seasons and in 2011 helped lead the 14U Boys’ Fair Haven Junior Slaters team to the Vermont AAU State Championship.
