There has been a lot of speculation about this one over the last few weeks, but it now appears that Barclay Radebaugh will return as the head men’s basketball coach at Charleston Southern next season.
According to a report by Jon Rothstein, CSU AD Jeff Barber confirmed Radebaugh’s return.
Charleston Southern went 6-25 (1-15 Big South) this past season, with rumors swirling towards the end of the season about a possible change. CSU did have a nice first-round Big South Tournament upset won over #5 UNC Asheville earlier this week, but had struggled all season. Only three of the Buccaneers six wins came against DI opponents this year.
Radebaugh has spent the past 17-seasons as the head coach at CSU, where he has gone 216-299 (.419).
