According to multiple reports, including one from Jon Rothstein, DePaul intends to hire Chris Holtmann as their new Head Basketball Coach.
Holtmann was released at Ohio State back on February 14th after leading the Buckeyes for seven seasons. Holtmann, who went 137-86 (.614) during his time at OSU, has also been the head coach at Butler (2014-17), and Gardner-Webb (2010-13).
DePaul finished this season with a 3-29 record, including a winless 0-20 mark in the Big East. Former head coach Tony Stubblefield was fired on January 22nd, and Matt Brady had served as the interim coach since then.
