According to a Jeff Borzello tweet, Kennesaw State’s Amir Abdur-Rahim is expected to be named as the new head men’s basketball coach at the University of South Florida.
Abdur-Rahim led KSU to a 26-9 (15-3) record this past season, and captured the ASUN tournament. He has also been an assistant at Georgia, Texas A&M, Murray State and College of Charleston.
His four years with the Owls were impressive – increasing his win total in each season:
