According to a report by the Courier Journal, Officials from Louisville are scheduled to meet with Xavier head coach Chris Mack this weekend. The Cardinals officially parted ways with interim head coach Scott Padgett yesterday.

Louisville will not be using a search firm, but will instead on a group of “informal” advisors surrounding Interim AD Vince Tyra. Mack is 215-97 in his nine seasons at Xavier and appears to be the top target for Tyra and his group. Tyra said yesterday that he expects this search to be wrapped up in a week to ten days.
