According to a Woj-Bomb, LSU assistant coach Cody Toppert will be named as the head coach of Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards G League affiliate:

Toppert has been an assistant at LSU since April of 2022, and had spent three seasons on the staff at Memphis before that.

This won’t be his first experience in the G League – he served as the head coach of Northern Arizona Suns in 2017-18 before joining the Phoenix Suns staff as an assistant coach and director of player development. Toppert also worked as an assistant with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (Houston Rockets).

An official announcement from the Wizards is expected shortly.
