According to a Shams-Bomb, Mike Bibby is expected to be named as the new head basketball coach at Sacramento State.
A 14-year NBA veteran, Bibby played for the Kings from 2001 to 2008, helping lead them to a Western Conference Finals appearance. He brings coaching experience from Shadow Mountain High School in Phoenix, where he won four consecutive state championships over six seasons.
Bibby would replace Michael Czepil, who served as the Hornets interim head coach last season.
