Earlier today on HoopDirt and on Twitter, I talked about the situation at NJCAA D1 USC Salkehatchie, and how they are looking for their 5th head men’s basketball coach in the past eight months.

Now, according to a report by WCIV’s Scott Eisberg, USC Salkehatchie intends to cancel the men’s basketball season:

Here is the timeline of MBB coaching moves since early January at the school:

• January 6th, 2022: Glen Mayo resigns; Matthew Bennett named Interim Head Coach.
• April 29th, 2022: Kyle Lawson takes over as new Head Coach.
• Early July 2022 (not sure on exact date, but I held the story until 7/14): Kyle Lawson resigns as Head Coach.
• July 25th, 2022: Richard Grant announced as new Head Coach.
• August 19th, 2022: Richard Grant’s name removed from the website, job posted
