According to a Jeff Goodman report, Southern Illinois has fired Head Basketball Coach Bryan Mullins.

Mullins, an SIU alum, returned to his alma mater as the head coach back in 2019. Mullins went 86-68 (.558) during 5 seasons at SIU, winning 23 games last season, and 19 this year. The Salukis, who were the #6 seed in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, were upset last night by #11 UIC 84-82 in 2OT.
