According to a report by Newsday, Stony Brook will name Geno Ford as their new head basketball coach. Ford had been as assistant for the Seawolves for the past three seasons, and was promoted to interim head coach earlier this month when Jeff Boals departed for Ohio.

Ford has previously served as the head coach at Kent State (2008-11 / 68-37), and Bradley (2011-15 / 48-86).
