According to multiple reports, Youngstown State will hire Fairmont State (WVa.) head coach as their next head basketball coach. He has reportedly beat out Arkon assistant coach Rick McFadden for the position. Calhoun led his team to the DII National Championship game where they lost yesterday to Northwest Missouri State 71-61. The 2017 Mountain East Coach of they Year, Calhoun has gone 124-38 in his five seasons (34-3 2016-17), and has won at least 20 games in each of his campaigns. An official announcement is expected tomorrow.
