Rogers tabbed as Assistant Coach at Mount Saint Mary College (NY)

Mount Saint Mary College Men’s Basketball Head Coach Ryan Kadlubowski has announced the addition of Terence Rogers to his coaching staff for the upcoming 2020-21 season. Rogers comes to the Mount after a successful playing career at SUNY Geneseo.

Rogers joins the Knights for the upcoming season after serving as a team captain at Geneseo for two seasons. A two-year starter, Rogers finished third in the SUNAC in assists in 2019 and also finished within the top-50 nationally in the same season in assist-to-turnover ratio. Off the court, Rogers served as the Geneseo SAAC Co-President.

“I think Terence represents the cream of the crop of young basketball coaches.  He will completely dedicate himself to the young men he is working with to see that they have success on and off the court.  He will make sure they learn more than just basketball,” said Geneseo Head Coach Steven Minton.

Minton continued, “Terence motivates himself and those around him to reach new levels of achievement every day.  He is a decisive leader and has the ability to analyze situations on the floor and quickly develop a logical course of action.”

Aside from playing, Rogers has coaching experience at the AAU level, working with Chris Ward Basketball since 2017. In that capacity he worked from third-12th grade players on player development as well running camp through drills.

Rogers graduated from Geneseo in 2020 with a degree in Business Administration with a minor in mathematics.
