I can confirm through a great source that Sacramento State head coach Brian Katz has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the school through the 2020 season.  Katz’ squad is coming off of a 21-win campaign in 2014-15 and a CIT post-season appearance.  He also garnered several awards following the season, winning CollegeInsider.com’s National Mid-Major Coach of the Year Award, the Big Sky Conference co-Coach of the Year, and District 6 Coach of the Year and honors.  The Sacramento State alum has been at the helm for the past seven years.  The official announcement is expected shortly.
