Following up on my TWEET from earlier today…I have heard from multiple sources that Maryland Director of Player Personnel Tevon Saddler will be named as the new head men’s basketball coach at Nicholls State. He would replace Austin Claunch who became an assistant at Alabama a few weeks ago.

Saddler, a Nicholls State alum, joined Kevin Willard’s staff last spring after serving as an assistant at McNeese State. Prior to his time at McNeese, he served as the Director of Basketball Operations at Nicholls State. Saddler also spent time as the graduate assistant at South Alabama.

More on this when it becomes official.
