Cal State Fullerton assistant Danny Sprinkle has been named as the new head coach at Montana State.

Sprinkle was a three-time All-Big Sky Conference selection as a player at Montana State (1996-2000). He has been on the Fullerton staff for the past six seasons, and has also worked at Cal State Northridge, and had a two year stint at MSU (2006-08).

An official statement from the school is expected shortly.
