Louisville assistant coach Ralph Willard is stepping down and will assume the position of Director of Basketball Operations. Current DBO Mark Lieberman will be elevated to assistant coach to replace Willard. No word yet on whether Willard will still be paid $375,000 or if he will make the $50,000 that the DBO makes. It is believed that the 64-year old Willard had enough of the recruiting and wanted to stay in the office more.
