For those who have been following the saga at West Florida, the long and strange search is finally coming to an end. I’ve heard from multiple sources that UWF alum Bob Stinnett will be introduced at a press conference on Monday.

The hiring of Stinnett will finally end this saga – probably the most interesting DII search that I can remember. Also, I have been saying all along that Stinnett would get this job due to his local connections, etc. Kind of an anti-climactic end to this thing…I was hoping that they would go with a dark horse and hire Tree Rollins or Tiny Archibald (two of the original 144).
