Former Kansas State graduate assistant Ryan Strohm has been added to Head Coach Gerad Good’s staff as an assistant coach at Manchester University.
Strohm spent the last two seasons in Manhattan, Kansas as a member of Bruce Weber’s staff at Kansas State. While at Kansas State, the Wildcats posted consecutive 25 win seasons and won the 2018-19 Big XII Regular Season Championship. The Wildcats also advanced to the program’s first Elite Eight in eight years during the 2017-18 season. Strohm worked with numerous All-Big XII players including current NBA players Dean Wade (Cleveland Cavaliers) and Barry Brown (Minnesota Timberwolves).
Strohm’s primary duties with Kansas State included assisting with the initial breakdown of game video, scouting, and film exchange. He also assisted with the recruiting database and travel.
Strohm also spent one season as an assistant coach at Maplewood-Richmond Heights High School in St. Louis, Missouri and was a trainer for Pure Sweat Basketball.
Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics in 2016 from Greenville University in Illinois where he was a member of the Panthers’ baseball program. He earned a master’s degree from Kansas State in 2019 in academic advising.
