I can confirm that Texas Tech has hired Colby Community College (KS) head coach Rusty Grafel in an administrative role.

Grafel had been at Colby CC for the past seven seasons. This past year, he led the Trojans to an 18-14 record and had 7’1 C Moses Bol sign to play at Central Florida. Grafel started his career as an assistant at Colby back in 2009, and has also worked at Fort Hays State.

I have also heard that Colby is moving quickly with their search, and interviews are already scheduled.
