UC Santa Barbara will hold an open press conference to introduce its new Head Men’s Basketball Coach on Tuesday, April 4 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lynn and Winnie Reitnouer Auditorium in the Intercollegiate Athletics Building on campus.

According to multiple published reports, Arizona associate head coach Joe Pasternack has accepted position. Pasternack joined the Arizona staff in 2011, and was promoted to associate head coach in 2011. A New Orleans native, Pasternack served as head coach at the University of New Orleans from 2007-11 before arriving in Tucson. He went 54-60 in his four seasons at UNO including a 19-win season in 2007-08. Prior to becoming a head coach, he has spent eight seasons on the staff at Cal.
