Buzz Peterson has named Brooks Lee assistant coach and elevated Jamie Kachmarik to associate head coach at UNC-Wilmington. Lee served in administrative role last season. He was the interim head coach at UNCW in 2009-10 after Benny Moss was released before the conclusion of the season. Kachmarik has been as assistant to Peterson for the past seven seasons (UNCW, Appalachian State, and Coastal Carolina). He has also worked at William and Mary and Ohio State.
