University of North Florida head basketball coach Matthew Driscoll announced changes to his coaching staff for the upcoming 2012-13 season.
Lee Moon, Jr., was promoted from Director of Basketball Operations to Assistant Coach while Bobby Kennen was named the Associate Head Coach for the Ospreys. Moon moves back into the coaching ranks following the departure of assistant coach Bruce Evans, who recently took a position on the basketball staff at Georgia Tech.
In his second season at UNF, Moon joined the UNF staff following a four-year stint as an assistant coach at Fresno State. While at Fresno State, Moon was a key force behind the Bulldogs’ 12th-ranked mid-major recruiting class in 2009. In addition to his tenure at Fresno State, he also was an assistant coach at Morehead State and a graduate assistant at Florida, under Billy Donovan.
Kennen, a well-respected assistant coach for two decades, enters his fourth season with the Ospreys. In addition to his time at UNF, he has served on the coaching staffs at Campbell, Jacksonville, Wichita State and Central Florida CC in the college ranks.
