I can confirm through multiple sources that VMI name Dave Davis as their new Associate Head Basketball Coach / Offensive Coordinator.

Davis spent last season on Pat Kelsey’s staff as the associate head coach at the College of Charleston, but was released earlier this spring. He has spent two years before that Kelsey’s on staff at Winthrop in a similar role.

Before heading to the D1 level, Davis spent 28-seasons as a small college head coach with stops at Warren Wilson College (NC), Barton College (NC), Pfeiffer University (NC), and Newberry College (SC). He holds a career record of 486-313 (.608).
