Following up on my Tweet from Vacationland earlier this morning…

I can confirm that University of New Orleans director of basketball operations Corey Schmidt will be hired as the video coordinator at Wake Forest.

Schmidt has been a member of the Privateers staff for the last four seasons, and has been part of a program that has advanced to post season play in each of the past three seasons. Before coming to UNO, Schmidt served as a graduate assistant at his alma mater Belmont.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
