Roger Williams University Athletics announced that Mark Ward has been promoted to Associate Head Basketball Coach.
Ward has brought experience to RWU over the last four years, contributing to the development of student-athletes both on and off the court. With 36 years of combined high school and collegiate coaching experience, he has built a reputation for his leadership, mentorship, and recruiting impact.
“It’s an honor to recognize Coach Ward with this well-deserved promotion to Associate Head Coach,” said Head Coach Mike Tully. “With 36 years of coaching experience at both the high school and college levels, he brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and integrity to our program. His impact goes far beyond the game. He’s been a mentor, a tireless recruiter, and a true builder of young men. We are grateful for his unwavering commitment to our athletes over the last four years, and we’re excited for what lies ahead under his continued guidance.”
