The WPI men’s basketball program has added former Lawrence Academy and Dickinson College standout Brandon Wiercinski to the staff. Wiercinski, a ’25 graduate of Dickinson College in PA, was a two-year captain for the Red Devils and finished as the sixth all-time three-point shooter in school history. He is the son of Kevin Wiercinski, long-time coach of Lawrence Academy who has amassed over 400 wins.

Coach Chris Bartley:  “Brandon is a smart and highly motivated young coach who grew up around the game. We think he will hit the ground running as part of our program and be an excellent representative of WPI and our program.”

Brandon Wiercinski:  “Being from the area I know the rich tradition of WPI men’s basketball. I am excited to learn from the staff and players and contribute to carrying on the success of the program.”

WPI men’s basketball finished 26-4 in the 2024-2025 reaching the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament and capturing their fourth consecutive NEWMAC Regular Season Championship with a 15-1 record in conference.
