Some things that I’ve heard…

• I have heard that Ryan Price will be joining that staff at Southern University as the Director of Player Development and special assistant. Price, the son of Lamar University head coach Tic Price, served as an assistant at Prairie View A&M in 2014-15, and was an assistant at Southern before that (2011-14). He has also spent time working for John Lucas as a trainer.

• Jeremy Jauregui has been promoted to Director of Basketball Operations at Cal Poly. He was most recently a graduate assistant on the Mustangs staff, and served as a student manager before that.

• It sounds like Glenville State College (WVa) assistant Justin Caldwell will join Kent McBride’s new staff at California (PA). He had been on the GSC staff for the past three seasons. I have also heard that he will be replaced at Glenville State by former Lamar CC (CO) assistant Jeff Dolan.

• I have heard that Allen Harris will become an assistant Virginia State. Last season was his first as an assistant at Lincoln University (PA). Harris has also been an assistant at Richard Bland College (VA), and is a Virginia State alum.
