I mentioned Louisiana Tech’s Eric Konkol at Tulsa in my DAILY DIRT last night. It now appears to be a done deal. I heard that Konkol was on campus yesterday, and sounds like this got done quickly.

According to a report from the News Star, Konkol will take over for former head coach Frank Haith at Tulsa. Konkol has been the head coach at La Tech since 2015, and has gone 153-75 (.671) during his tenure. He has won 20+ games in 6 out of his seven seasons with the Bulldogs, including 24 this past year.
