The Times Free Press was the first to report that Florida assistant Florida assistant Matt McCall will be named as the new head coach at Tennessee Chattanooga.  McCall was listed by HoopDirt.com as one of the candidates late last week (Tennessee-Chattanooga Dirt).  He was a manager and then DBO for Billy Donovan at Florida before joining Mike Jarvis’ staff at Florida Atlantic as an assistant in 2008.  Following a three year stint at FIU, he rejoined Donovan’s staff in 2011 as a full-time assistant.  He willl replace Will Wade who became the head coach at VCU last week.  The official announcement is expected tomorrow.
