Crazy day today as a lot of guys head home from Houston.  I just wanted to follow-up on a few tweets that I sent earlier…

• UAB: I’m hearing this will be wrapped up soon.  I can confirm that Auburn assistant Chuck Person is no longer a candidate.  I’ve heard that current assistant coach/interim head coach Rob Ehsan is the leader, but former UCLA and St. John’s head coach Steve Lavin is making a late charge.  I’ve also heard that a sleeper is North Florida head coach Matt Driscoll.  Finally, there is a current MAC head coach in the hunt – a long shot, but definitely in the mix. More here soon – heard the announcement could come as early as tomorrow.

• Wright State: On Tuesday, I mentioned South Dakota State head coach Scott Nagy and his involvement at Wright State (Daily Dirt -3/29/16).  It now sounds like he will be the choice to replace Billy Donlon at WSU.  I also mentioned Joe Dooley, Marty Simmons, and Cliff Warren (Daily Dirt 3/30/16) – sounds like that was the final group that Nagy beat out.  More on this tomorrow.

• **EARLY NAME at South Dakota State: DII Augustana (SD) head coach Tom Billeter.  He’s coming off of a 34-2 season and a DII National Championship.  He’s also lurking at Milwaukee…
