- Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl gave an update on the ongoing FBI investigation into the men’s basketball program today. “There have been no substantive changes,” Pearl said. “There are obviously certain aspects of the investigation that are very private and we’re keeping them that way, but there’s been no real change.” More on today’s press conference from AUNow.com can be found HERE.

- Brad Brownell recently won the 300th game of his career. He now has 134 wins at Clemson to go along with 83 at UNC-Wilmington, and 84 at Wright State. Brownell has the Tigers off to a 10-1 start this season after defeating Florida on Saturday, and South Carolina last night. I smell a coach of the week nominee here…
- Not sure what to make of Cuonzo Martin visiting the Stephen F. Austin locker room after the Jacks nearly knocked off Missouri. I guess it was a classy gesture – he told them how great they played, etc. Not sure how I would feel though after a one point loss to have the opposing coach come in to my locker room. - Great article HERE from the New York Times on former St. Anthony’s head coach Bob Hurley. Not only is he chasing around his sons – URI head coach Dan Hurley, and Arizona State head coach Bobby Hurley, the 70 year old is out seeing HS practices and still giving clinics. His love for the game is amazing.
