According to multiple reports, and now confirmed by HoopDirt.com, Texas State AD Dr. Larry Teis is set to remove the interim tag from head coach Terrence Johnson by the end of the week.

Texas State elevated Johnson from assistant to interim head coach after Danny Kaspar was placed on leave last June, and subsequently resigned in September. Johnson led the Bobcats to an 18-7 (12-3) record this past season, and captured their first-ever Sun Belt Conference regular season championship.

This is Johnson’s sixth season at Texas State.
