I have heard from great sources that Colby-Sawyer College (NH) head men’s basketball coach Bill Foti has resigned. It sounds like he has accepted an administrative role in athletics out of the region.
Foti had been the head coach at C-SC for the past 29 years, and has put together a 486-259 (.652) record. During his tenure, Foti’s teams qualified for four NCAA tournaments, and won the 1997-98 ECAC New England Championship. Foti also served as the Senior Associate Athletics Director at the college.
Word on the street is that assistant coach Shannon Sciria is the early leader here to replace Foti. The 2009 Colby-Sawyer alum has been on the staff since 2018.
An official announcement on Foti’s departure is expected sometime this week.
