McKenna resigns at Indiana State

According to TribStar.com, Indiana State head coach Kevin McKenna has resigned and will accept a position on Dana Altman’s staff at Oregon State. The official announcement from ISU is expected today. Sources tell me that American University has hired Lamar Barrett as an assistant. Barrett has been an assistant at Brown for the past two seasons. Before that, he worked for the Hoop Group. He replaces Robert Burke, who became the head coach at Mount St. Mary’s last month. Expect an official announcement shortly.

I’ve heard that Fashion Institute head coach Michael Kerr is out and has accepted the job at Borough of Manhattan CC. According to the Hartford Courant, UConn assistant coach Pat Sellers and director of operations Beau Archibald have resigned. Their resignations come before today’s press conference where UConn will announce an update on the NCAA investigation into possible recruiting violations.
