Southern Connecticut search

I have heard that Southern Connecticut has narrowed its search for a new head coach to three candidates. The are: Mike Donnelly – Head Coach Post University Bob Walsh – Head Coach Rhode Island College Joe Loughran – Head Coach Rutgers-Newark A decision is expected within the next week.

Gardner-Webb

We are hearing that former Gardner-Webb assistant and current Ohio assistant Chris Holtmann will be named head coach sometime this week. Holtmann has spent the last two seasons at Ohio. He was chosen from a group that included Belmont assistant Casey Alexander, ex-Charlotte assistant Rob Moxley and Virginia director of basketball operations Brad Soucie.

Appalachian State to Hire Capel

Multiple sources are reporting that Jason Capel will be the next head coach at Appalachian State. Jason just finished his first season at Appalachian State, which was his only experience as a coach.
