4:00 Press Conference Scheduled at Liberty

Liberty University has scheduled a 4:00pm press conference this afternoon to announce their new basketball coach. All indications are that it will be Marquette assistant Dale Layer. Before coming to Marquette, Layer was an assistant under Ritchie McKay at Liberty. Layer was also the head coach at Colorado State from 2000-2007 (103-106). Here’s the link

Fayetteville State Finalists

Fayetteville State has narrowed down its coaching search to three finalists. Included are Grambling State assistant Alphonza Kee, Elizabeth City coach Shawn Walker, and UNC-Wilmington assistant Joe Redmond. Nickelberry out at Hampton
