Former Vermont and Marist College standout Ryan Schneider has been named an assistant men’s basketball coach at Brown University in an announcement made by Bears’ head coach Jesse Agel. Schneider will be reunited with Agel, who recruited and coached him at the University of Vermont.

Scnheider played professionally in Portugal from 2009-2011. He competed for CAB Madeira in the top Portuguese league, averaging 15.3 points, and 7.3 rebounds per game. In 2011, Schneider played for AD Ovarense in Portugal.
