I have slowly been compiling the members of Reggie Witherspoon’s new staff at Canisius. Back on 6/9, HoopDirt.com mentioned that Radford assistant Chris Hawkins would be named as an assistant coach (Daily Dirt – 6/9/16), and then reported on 6/28 that Daemen College assistant Jake Kroll would become the DBO (Canisius Dirt). I have now heard that Witherspoon will also hire Orangeville Prep (Canada) head coach Larry Blunt as an assistant. Following his playing career at James Madison, Blunt spent time as an assistant coach at Hampden-Sydney University, Shaw University, and Eastern Mennonite University. He also served as the head coach of the Oshawa Power in the National Basketball League of Canada.

These hirings are expected to be made official later today.
