BREAKING: Shields out at Arkansas Little Rock

HoopDirt.com has learned that Steve Shields has been relieved of his duties this afternoon at Arkansas Little Rock. Shields has spent the past 12 seasons at the school. His squad finished 13-18 this past season. We expect the official announcement from UALR shortly.

BREAKING RUMOR: Carmody to Holy Cross

According to an ESPN report, and now confirmed by our sources, Holy Cross will name Bill Carmody as their new head coach. The press conference is scheduled for tomorrow. In 17 years as a head coach, Carmody has compiled a 284-235 record (192-210 at Northwestern, 92-25 at Princeton). More on this as it develops.
